Get To Know A Little More About Our Story

More than just turf

Finelawn is an instant, natural, living lawn that is grown by our in-house agronomists to provide the professional finish to your landscape. It is cultured in the heart of the Waikato on rich Horotiu sandy loam soils. This allows us to offer you the highest quality turf in the country. Finelawn removes the hassle of attempting to grow your own lawn, as well as instantly transforming your site into a beautiful, lush green landscape in a matter of hours.

Finelawn was originally established by Mark Eman in 1987 on a small parcel of land within a larger farming operation. Today, Finelawn has developed into one of the largest commercial turf producers in New Zealand.  Now, Finelawn not only grows turf on 50ha of prime Waikato land but also offers installation services, irrigation design and installation services, a comprehensive lawn care service as well as selling and distributing lawn care products throughout New Zealand. Finelawn is ideal for either commercial or residential applications. Finelawn is supplied in one square metre rolls, with a choice of different grass varieties to suit most requirements.
